Commonly Required Documents — Salaried
This is a general list. Your relationship manager will confirm the exact requirement based on the lender you choose.
- PAN card and Aadhaar card (identity & address proof)
- Last 3 months' salary slips
- Form 16 / income tax returns for the last 2 years
- Bank statements for the last 6 months (salary account)
- Employment continuity proof (offer letter / employment certificate)
- Passport-size photographs
Commonly Required Documents — Self-Employed
Self-employed applicants generally need to demonstrate business continuity and income stability through the following documents.
- PAN card, Aadhaar card and business registration proof
- Income tax returns for the last 2–3 years with computation
- Profit & loss statement and balance sheet (CA-certified, where required)
- Bank statements — personal and business accounts, last 6–12 months
- GST registration and returns, where applicable
- Business address proof and continuity proof
Property-Related Paperwork
For the property being purchased or mortgaged, lenders typically require the following, subject to case and location.
Sale Agreement
Copy of the sale agreement or builder-buyer agreement for the property.
Approved Plan
Sanctioned building plan and approvals from the relevant municipal authority, where applicable.
Title Documents
Chain of ownership documents / title deed establishing clear property title.
NOC & Clearance
No-objection certificates from society/builder and relevant statutory clearances, where applicable.
Payment Receipts
Receipts of payments already made towards the property, if any.
Allotment Letter
Allotment letter from builder/authority for under-construction or newly allotted property.
